Christian Education
The desire and ability to teach others present one of the most rewarding vocations in life. However, the individual must be prepared to face different styles of learning abilities, personalities, cultures and ethnicities. Teaching can be a gift, but the individual must be prepared, especially when called to teach God’s people. This begins with study and knowledge of the Word. In 2 Timothy 2:15, the word states: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Therefore, you can let Shekinah be the place to obtain your Christian education experience where the aim is study of the Word. As an online college, there is no need to leave your home.
What is Christian Education?
Christian Education can be described as the study of God’s Word, His love, mercies, forgiveness and faithfulness toward mankind. This also includes Jesus Christ our Saviour, and the Holy Spirit our Comforter. Another definition of Christian education presents it as a system of teaching scriptural principles, and methods from the Bible, for both spiritual and practical applications to effectively demonstrate and explain the Word of God.
We understand God’s word from reading, study and revelation.
Since Christian education introduces and promotes the faith, the main course of study is based on the Word of God and its principles. The student must spend time in the Word for self-development, preparation, and familiarity so that he or she is able to answer questions when approached or for teaching others.
Therefore, as with all other achievements in life, this begins with study. 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” The student must be able to answer if he or she trusts the teachings of the Bible, which is often asked by those who question its teachings.
Knowledge of the Word will assist the individual to confidently answer this question.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture (is) given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

What does the Word say?
Christian education answers what we believe and why. These answers are from personal experience, and biblical information. Students learn how to apply the Word of God to both practical and spiritual situations; and being able to rightly divide the truth of the word through its power to lead others to a saving grace in Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:12).
Moreover, the only way we will know God and Jesus will be from the Word. Therefore, the main emphasis at Shekinah is study of the Word to prepare disciples for Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
This is a great day to change the course of your life.
Serving Jesus and doing His will makes all the difference.
Ask the Lord to come into your heart, and He will help if you are willing to trust His leadership.

The Purpose for Christian Education
The purpose for Christian education is summed up in Paul’s writing: 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
The only way we will know what God is saying to the believer and to the world is from the written word. Christianity by itself cannot be fully understood without verification of its effectiveness. There must be evidence of its relevance and applicability for a changed life to please the Lord.
We study the Word because, “All scripture (is) given by inspiration of God, and (is) profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
In essence, Christian education teaches how to practically demonstrate the Word through various methods and techniques to explain its relevance and meaning to the world.
To the Student
We value our students, and for this reason, classes are small which gives the opportunity for guided teaching so that no one is left behind. Tuition is affordable, and in some cases, students are assisted so that they are not disappointed by being unable to meet the demands of obtaining a Christian education degree. Increase your knowledge as you confidently and diligently earn your degree by faith and study of the Word to fulfill your calling, so that you can help others to know the Lord.
What is even more exciting is that you do not have to leave your home. Wherever you are located with access to the internet and a computer, you can achieve your goal.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6.
