We are affordable, online, Spirit-led and Bible-oriented. We welcome you to Shekinah where all our programs are based upon the truths of God’s Word. Our hope is that we will be able to fulfill your search for a Christian institution where the main text is the Bible, which gives guidance and direction to know God and His love for mankind.
As an online Christian Institution, we prepare men and women to teach and preach the gospel beginning from certificates to degree levels. Those who transfer from another institution or who have applicable credits will be acknowledged. Programs are specifically selected and designed to develop knowledge of the Word, to learn skills for better interpersonal relationships, and to deal with problems with a study of Conflict Management. Some programs are arranged to prevent participants from spending long hours reading depending on the need. Students must complete all requirements before a certificate is granted.

If you were you called by God to be a minister, you will need a sturdy Scriptural foundation. Here at STC our main aim is to prepare students and help them gain knowledge of the word through dedication and diligence. All programs are based mainly from the Bible because it teaches the purpose for the Word of God, which states that, All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Shekinah encourages students to make the Bible their companion, and study of the word a required staple of their daily diet. Similar to the body which needs nourishment, so does the soul. Maintenance of the soul allows the Holy Spirit to nurture and strengthen the student to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The main focus at STC is helping students to become successful and strong in their walk with the Lord, and to be effective disciples for Him. STC is a ministry of Faith. Learning comes through study to gain knowledge and understanding with wisdom to help others.

Our faith stands on the infallible Word of God, and by practicing what the Word says. This means being good examples and stewards of God’s love, grace, and mercy which He bestows on us all. We are an Online Bible Christian Institution preparing men and women to be disciples for Christ to reach others for the Kingdom of God. The foundation of our studies is based on the written word
All ministers should seek for a deep understanding of the word to accurately and confidently defend his relationship with Christ.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and (be) ready always to (give) an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.” 2 Peter 3:15-16
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15
Knowledge of the Scriptures will help the student in every aspect of life because according to the Apostle Paul:
“All scripture (is) given by inspiration of God, and (is) profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.“

For these reasons we encourage our students to take time to meet with the Lord daily and to use the Scriptures as their weapon against attacks from demonic sources.
The Word of God is the main source of knowledge which is profitable to enrich students with wisdom that will enable them to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. (Matthew 28:19-20).

Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness (was) upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Men are still living in darkness today. You can be the one to take the light of God’s word to mankind and lead them to Christ.
- To be a Christ-centred, spirit-led institution for building the Kingdom of God through teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ to people around the world.
- To teach and train counsellors to show compassion towards the helpless and hurting in their times of need.
- To motivate pastors to respond to conditions in their churches, and to help those persons in crises to be restored to spiritual and emotional health (Isaiah 61:1-3).
- To train counsellors to become mature in the gospel, and a helping hand to those who need spiritual guidance (Titus 2).
- STC aims to be unique, and not a prototype of any other institution. Our expectation is for students to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Word based on the Christian Faith.
- The effort is to help each student to obtain acute spiritual perception and wisdom with the Holy Spirit’s guidance to penetrate problematic and challenging situations.
- We hope that all students will gain an experience which will draw them closer to the Lord as they exemplify what the word says about God, life, and the family.
- We aim maintain biblical principles to observe the integrity of the gospel. Therefore, the programs are based strictly on biblical doctrines.

Choosing Shekinah Theological College
Shekinah is an online Christian Institution with programs based on the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our aim is to please God. Therefore, our purpose and mission will be to expect excellence and success from all our students whose desire is to fulfill the call of God on their lives to preach the Gospel. The programs are designed for those who are called into a biblical ministry. Most importantly, the student must decide whether he or she is responding to the Holy Spirit or for mainly secular endeavours. If it is the former, then STC is the place structured for Christian learning and development. This is the place where you receive teachings to help you to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Moreover, if God has called you into ministry, He will take you safely and successfully to your destiny. If the individual has other aims, then Shekinah would not be the institution to choose.
Consequently, God’s approval of us will last throughout eternity. We are here to build the kingdom of God, and to reach all the world with the gospel as we await the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, Shekinah Theological College [STC] believes in quality and aims for excellence for all our students. If you were called by God to serve Him, then seek to do His will, and let Him promote and empower you. Only God has the final say in all of mankind’s aspirations. When you have fulfilled His will for your life, nothing on earth can bar you from receiving His reward, which is eternal life with Jesus Christ. If you are faithful, after this life you will be going To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you. I Peter 1:4. Reliance must only be upon God for success, and not worldly approval. If as a Christian institution our recommendation is based on worldly endorsement, then we have become like the Galatians Paul spoke about. “Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” (Galatians 3:3).
Why you should choose Shekinah for your studies
Firstly, to become a minister you must know the Word. This means that time must be set aside to prayerfully study with the direction and leading of the Holy Spirit. Nothing can be achieved without this great Teacher and Guide (I Corinthians 2). He gives insights with wisdom and understanding to apply various methods for practical and spiritual implementation of the gospel. As a Teacher, the Holy Spirit imparts knowledge with interpretation and revelations, through discernment for the believer who allows Him access to his or her life (I Corinthians 2).
Thirdly, we are one of the most affordable colleges to be found online. Applying at STC will make you say to yourself, “This is what I was looking for to meet my budget and being able to learn how to study the Bible to prepare me for God’s service.”
Secondly, Shekinah is an online college which does not require students to travel. Work is done in the privacy of the home, and at the student’s own rate of speed. However, we encourage students to work with diligence using the opportunities given to them by God.
Fourthly, Students may only need a refresher, or one course of study. Programs are flexible, and there is no scheduled time for entry or completion.
Fifthly, the Bible teaches us not to be conformed to the world, but rather to be transformed and not practice its behaviour nor its philosophies (Romans 12:1-2). Therefore, Shekinah cannot adapt worldly ideologies and re-clothe them into Christian garbs. We must be followers of Jesus Christ, as were the disciples and not be identified with worldly philosophies. We will not re-create worldly models to fit into Christianity. For these reasons and more our theme is and will always be “What does the Word say?”
Finally, Shekinah is a Bible-oriented, Holy Spirit-led, and Christ-centred institution. Therefore, our confidence and dependence are upon God and His grace, rather than the beliefs of outside entities. Our theme is “What does the Word say?” Therefore, our aim is to prepare ministers not only for temporary endeavours, but for eternity.
